I got the JavaScript file to load, and chat and cursor tracking work, but when I edit the wikitext on one client the contents aren't updated on the other. Is TogetherJS incompatible with WikiEditor?

This was mainly for VisualEditor. I think it would work for WikiEditor as well. If not, we can definitely make it work for WikiEditor too.

Maybe I'm just missing some sort of WikiEditor module. TogetherJS launched just fine and everything was on par with that video except editor changes weren't reflected on the other user's session.
