Hi, I've tried your method to reconstruct 3DGS. The output 3DGS num are very limited. Can I use your camera extrinsics and intrinsics , and train my gaussian splatting model from your 3DGS ply file? Can this improve the 3DGS quality?

Hi, yes, we aim to keep the number of 3D Gaussian units low to maintain a smaller memory footprint. So please feel free to reuse the estimated camera intrinsics and extrinsics to further train the model, for example, using other dedicated reconstruction frameworks such as RaDe-GS or 2DGS.
