Flipwitch Randomizer 0.2.0pre1
Build that will eventually become the first stable release.
Changes:
- Split up settings.
- This adds Shopsanity, Stat Shuffle, Quest for Sex.
- Shopsanity adds all shops to be shuffled; otherwise they are vanilla.
- Stat Shuffle shuffles the heart and mana containers.
- Gachapon changed to Gachapon Shuffle and changed from a boolean to off, coins, gachapon.
- Quest for Sex shuffles quests, from just Sensei's rewards up to sex experience itself.
- Adds location groups (though mostly for use with the new hinting system; still somewhat useful).
- Reordered items and locations, so the IDs are different. Sorry Lazy!
- Adds a new hinting system.
- Most NPCs that usually give you an item will tell you where the original item is vaguely.
- Hint system looks for location group, then region, then if there's nothing usable says its "somewhere" in the person's game.
Flipwitch Randomizer 0.1.13
Changes:
- Archipelago UI changed
- Uses a window, similar to how HP2 does it currently.
- Text window is placed on the bottom instead of the top.
- If the user hits F8, all normal game input is blocked, allowing the player to type freely.
- The last known working connection is saved to a file in the ArchSaves folder, and is pulled from on load, to avoid having to re-type the last game's connection information.
- Most locations correctly collect (chests, gacha coins, health/mana container pickups.
- Anything else is NOT CHANGED. Includes Shops, Gacha machine pulls, etc.
- Shops may be included later.
Bugfixes:
- Remove popup that occurs during the Goblin Queen victory regarding the item that is normally the crystal being removed, as it allowed the player to move during a cutscene.
- Fix generation including one of every filler item before running the actual filler method, which caused a rogue "Nothing" to be added to the pool.
- Removed local handling of received items
- This is done in an attempt to fix the issue where some items aren't sent. Not confirmed but theorized its a chase condition regarding indexes. We'll see if it fixes it.
Flipwitch Randomizer 0.1.12
New Features:
- Text filtering.
- If the sent message is a hint or obtained item not relevant to you, it is skipped.
- Text coloring based on players, item flags, etc.
Bugfixes:
- Attempt to fix supposed bug with seeds defaulting to -1 and saving.
- Fix logic for Unlucky Cat Statue and Summoning Stones

New Features:
- If you receive an important item, the "purchase" sound effect plays.
- If you receive a trap, the "boss crystal fall" sound effect plays.
Bugfixes:
- Fixed issue where on starting a new game, received items were locked unless you restarted.
- Deathlink no longer spams you.
- Disables the item popup for most items sent to the player so you don't get to freely move during the intro.
- Complete received items rework. Worst case, if you believe you are missing something, dying will fix it.
- Fixed issue where the Cat Statue quest would not send.
- Forces a requirement that you must visit the three spots for Cat Statue and Summon Stones before finishing the quest.
- This avoids a potential softlock as if you finish beforehand these spots vanish.
- Fix rewards from Beatrix only giving the first pass of items.
Flipwitch Randomizer 0.1.10
Nightly release. There's a few longstanding bugs still.
Bugfixes:
- Fixed issue with Long Distance Relationship not properly triggering
- Fixed an issue where picking up Gobliana's luggage did not set a variable.
- Removed an erroneous wand upgrade.
- Fixed wand upgrades so you don't get multiple in a single send.
- Fix gacha machines possibly erroring on gachapons off.
- Fix Sensei incorrectly never giving you a cutscene if your wand upgrade is too high.
- Fix gachas not using the right order (didn't i do this already?)
- Fix peach upgrades not increasing heal amount
- Fix several logic errors:
- Slime form wasn't required for the pipe after Goblin Queen
- Health in Shady Sewers didn't require anything.
- Fungella locations didn't require the key to the door
- Slime Citadel didn't require its key
- Gachas were using index to check when they were in logic, when it should have been index + 1
Tweak:
- Reduced reduction of Protective Barrier from half reduction each to a quarter each.
- Remove item popups for now when you receive an item.

Flipwitch Randomizer 0.1.6
New Features:
- Reworked the entirety of the gacha system.
- Instead of random selection at roll, its order is determined by the seed.
- Every machine is split up, and a number of coins assigned to each machine.
- This is relatively new and is likely prone to errors or problems.
- If two flipwitch games are in the multiworld, the icons should be identical now.
Bugfixes:
- Fixed case where if you defeat goblin before saving the great fairy, you miss a location.
- Currently this fix is rough, so apologies.

- Fix receiving experience from Beatrix.
- Fix Goblin Luggage not properly setting a variable.
- Fix errors when Beatrix says hi in other places.
- Fix Cabaret Bunny leaving if you see her scene before finishing the final quest.
- Add softlock savers in Umi Umi and Fungal Forest in case you don't have Bewitched Bubble.
- Attempt to fix naming of Chaos Key, Summon Stone, and Soul Fragment (may not work, haven't tested).
- Add missing location for Belle's Milkshake.
