To further this discussion, a methodology I often use is 'invest in people, not tickers.' Of course, investing is primarily conducted through a brokerage purchasing a ticker. However, it's important to look beyond the ticker and consider who's behind it. What are they doing for humanity? Are they ethical themselves, and do they align with your values? Who's managing the money you're giving to that organization, and do you support their actions?
