Hello, and thank you for your work!
Does the copr already work with Fedora 36, or should we wait before updating?

I've tested it in VM - looks good.

On wayland, I'm having problems when trying to insert accents in xwayland applications (e.g. é only shows as e)

Now if it is related to this repo, plasma problem, or the fedora 36 release.. who knows.
Can someone give it a try?

Edit: ok I think I found it: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2022-0a36bb3520#comment-2498708

For me the solution was to go to "Input Method Selector" and set it to None.

Like so:

I don't know what are the disadvantages of not using ibus, though

Actually you can remove IBus from the system (package ibus), I don't remember if it could be done with official KDE packages though...
I've seen ibus causing bugs in Firefox (can be found in their bugzilla) and some other software.

Removing ibus will cause one issue - plasma emoji selector won't show emoji list.
It uses files from ibus package: /usr/share/ibus/dicts/emoji-*.dict.

Well.. so far I don't notice any disadvantage of not using ibus, and everything is working. Nevertheless default settings for F36 are broken. A user that installs F36 in a vm and upgrades will lose the accentuated characters
