Trackpad function instead as arrow keys

I'm interested in having the trackpad operate as arrow keys to make it simpler to cursor around in a block of text. I'm happy to attempt to code it. If you could provide input about where the code related to the trackpad is, that would be very helpful. Any pointers you have on it would also be helpful.

It's a great keyboard that you've built and the firmware is very impressive!
