I am currently working with 16s amplicon sequencing data (V3-V4) obtained from NovaSeq (250bp, paired-end).
Recently, I have become aware that NovaSeq quality scores are categorized into bins rather than being continuous. I would expect this may have some impact on the performance of Figaro. Has anyone performed any trials or testing on this?
Thanks in advance
