Currently the date value can be formatted like this YYYY-M-D depending on the day and month. How can I change it so that it is always YYYY-MM-DD?

I added this to the function that updates the hidden date:

if (selectedMonth.toString().length === 1) selectedMonth = "0"+selectedMonth;
if (selectedDay.toString().length === 1) selectedDay = "0"+selectedDay;
