Sync from remote origin

I just tried using git-spice and wanted to provide some feedback. For me the biggest downside is having to setup GitHub credentials. Could we just pull from git pull origin <current branch>? For submitting, we could push branches and log the url for creating a PR on GitHub.

I agree that setting up auth is a bit of a pain, but it's necessary for a lot of the core functionality. repo sync isn't just pull; it needs to pull, and then query GitHub about merged branches (local inspection isn't always enough). git-spice tries to make authentication less painful: e.g., if you're already using GitHub CLI, git-spice can use that as the source of authentication.

That said, the submission workflow you describe is possible today:
git-spice supports a --no-publish flag and a spice.submit.publish configuration to make that the default, so you can have it git push without authentication and create PRs manually. This is partially laid out in working with unsupported remotes. Hope that helps.
