Clicking trigger causes page reload

clicking the menu icon, regardless of whether a href=# or a causes page reload on smartphone and tab, both on my websites and on http://jpanelmenu.com/, so panel menu opens but page immediately reloads, which has the menu in the closed state - so the user experience is clicking the trigger opens and recloses the menu panel.

Need to return FALSE to prevent page reload ?
