I'm trying to get my self-hosted runner to "see" the desktop. The runner is on a Windows Server 2022 Datacenter machine on AWS EC2, and it is not running as a service. I need this for various projects that automate desktop interactions, but they don't see the desktop elements unless I manually RDP into the EC2. I'm seeing conflicting info online regarding the ability of a runner to interact with the desktop.
To confirm, can a Windows self-hosted runner see the desktop UI elements? If so, how can I "activate" the desktop?
Thanks
