Hi,

For our new project, there's an urgent need to develop a consolidated UI/UX for:

• A revamp of OST
• A new app on top of ODIN / deployed merchandising web component / web commerce artifacts

While adobe.com will essentially be a consumer of this platform, and aligning UX designs isn't immediately necessary, it's worth noting that, similar to Dexter in the past, Milo is more than just adobe.com web pages. It's a concerted effort by our team to deliver aligned and consistent web content management. Therefore, we should consider aligning with the other UX alignment efforts, specifically Milo Studio.

There have been numerous offline discussions about decoupling the framework and UX concepts of Milo Studio and applying them where possible. I'm not entirely sure of our current status on this, but I understand that immediate alignment requires time and effort, which we currently can't afford.

We want to ensure that these two efforts are led transparently and communicated widely so that we can, if it makes sense, join them at some point.

well, the tool will be more MAS than adobe.com that would become "just" a consumer, hence broader question: what should we consider milo to be?

no, we go with structured content route here for everything related to merchandising content. There will be some Edge delivery involved though (cf. Freya project)
