I'm not seeing any problem with the certificate now. It is handled by GitHub hosting. Maybe they fixed something?

this certificate problem has existed for a while.
there was also a reddit thread and also a comment #16 (comment) about it where it was discussed.
afaik @iamsmooth is the only one who can fix it (if you read it, please have a look).

@aeonix, please change aeon.cash DNS records from the A records that point to some github IPs into a CNAME record that points to aeonix.github.io on your website registrar as noted in the comment above from 2020. It should not take more than 10 minutes to do so all aeon.cash redirects are sent properly to github.
