Many of the the NSE snmp-* plugins implement some of this behaviour, only for specific OIDs. Not sure if its worth walking the whole thing or not.

I think this is still worth doing. For output snippets proving SNMP is using default strings, the output from any of the snmp-* scripts will work. But when you really want to dig for sensitive information, a full walk would be appropriate.
