Use straight longitude lines to divide up the AI regions (instead of boxes around regions)
Cutting the number of color breaks to less than 7 to aid with interpretation, which is generally a good rule of thumb for figure design
Provide more nuanced options for color scheme. Rainbow appears to be most comfortable to partners, but is not color blind friendly. The red inferno viridis color scheme left partners feeling that the figure made temperatures seem warmer. Comments included preference for dark blue for cold colors.

There have been some issues in trying this out. Data appears to have too many typos and 0s that should be NAs to execute properly (as of June 23).
