First of all, it's really cool to see an open driver for the LBP series. Keep up the great work!
Unfortunately, only about 2/3 (top to bottom) of the site is filled with text when printing. Do you have an idea what the problem could be? I already checked the ppd and compared it to the CNCUPSLBP2900CATK.ppd, but I am not sure what exactly to look for. The imageable areas seems just fine.
System is arch linux, printer LBP2900.

this seems to be a problem with the resolution, probably caused by the
recent LBP3000 updates. You may try to revert them or try to change the
compression constants.
Unfortunately I do not own the printer anymore, so I can't debug this
myself.

Also check you are using latest version of the software and CNCUPSLBP2900CATK.ppd (not the cups cached one). In other words reinstalling the driver and the printer should work.
