We use AsciiDoc for greater flexibility.

Documentation should live next to the code it’s documenting

Environment Configuration

Environment configurations are encrypted using git secret

See *.template files for info on what variables are expected.

Git

Branches

Master branch should be merge-only.

Branches should be created in the following format:

<prefix>/<feature/issue/hotfix>

Where <prefix> is your GitHub handle.

Features and Issues should branch off development

Hotfixes should branch off master

Commits

You can use git-commit-template.txt as a template for your commits

Commits should be PGP signed.

Editor Configuration

Use the .editorconfig file to load basic editor settings.
