We would like to use this tool in our company, as we primarily use Windows. However, the IT department rejected it because it is not signed. How can I propose using this tool? Is it possible to have it signed?

As far as I know, signing binaries for Windows is an expensive and complicated process. Do you use any other open-source command-line utilities at work that are signed?
