Hi 👋. Thank you for submitting your first issue to Homarr. Please ensure that you've provided all nessesary information. maybe a checkbox? [no api key] ? Or [No password set]? |
What version of PiHole are you running? PiHole automatically generates an API token by default. |
Im using docker (latest) and the api key only gets generated when you set a dashboard password, which i dont want to use. Therefore i cant get a api key and therefore it would be nice if you disable that check for api key. Should just run with "?apikey=" |
still more info needed? |
No, thank you. As mentioned in #1993, we currently no longer work on new features for the old Homarr. Therefore, this will be possible as soon as 1.0 releases. Thank you for your understanding. |

Description
It would be cool if we could proceed without a api key in pihole.
Why? Because it seems like standard is "NO KEY SET" and there is no obv. way to generate the api key.
So just disable the check if something is NOT entered, and it would work.
Priority
Low (Nice-to-have)
