Debug my Set Charge Limit Script? #445
-
I get this error: tesla_set_charge_limit_soc:
The input_number.charge_level_select has a state of 65. skippy_online does have an id attribute populated. Great work on this integration. I have many automations working. I tried to implement set charge limit directly, which eventually led me to this script. |

I solved this issue. I'll leave the answer for people like me who have not used scripts before. This script is simply copied into the script folder after editing. Then reload Scripts. Don't try to add it through YAML in the script editor. My only file changes were adding my specific vehicle entity for Skippy, and the custom input number I created and names in the Helper app. When implemented a new service will be added to you call service choices. You don't need to implement the Automation shown in the wiki. It's just an example. If you use the visual editor you can simply call the new service created. |
