Feature request: ​Social media icons/profiles for book theme

First, many thanks for the very nice theme and for your effort on this,

I have been able to build my first website with the book theme by trial and error (I have no experience in markup or Hugo). I would like to add social media icons (buttons) for home-info and profile-mode as for example in the PaperMod theme.

It appears to me that this feature is not available in the book theme, so if I'm right, can it be added? Of course with the current theme functionality I can link my linkedin, scopus, researchgate etc pages as “buttons” but, if possible I’d rather have the aesthetic result of a social media bar as available in other themes.

Well, I think it is better for site creators / theme users to add fonts/icons in their sites
It will be hard to pick and maintain a list of icons that fits everyone, I try to keep everything minimalistic
