I was attempting to simulate error-free reads with polyester, by using simulate_experiment function with arguments error_model = "uniform" and error_rate = 0. But still, when I checked my outputs, there were some nucleotides marked as 'N' (though only few). So, I was wondering if I did this correctly, and I would like to verify with you if my simulated reads are really error-free ? Thanks in advance !
Best wishes.
