Background image doesn't display in GCP #129

It seems that the background image doesn't display when working with Streamlit over a GCP instance.

Version of tool tried: 0.9.3

I have tried to downgrade the tool up to 0.8.0 without much success. It looks like it is a problem of path creation, thus the front-end can't find the image.

Any help or a quick workaround with this is much appreciated, thanks!
