For anyone getting started with LM: welcome!

If you would like to introduce yourself publicly, please share a little about yourself so we can learn from each other. Everyone has their own interests and areas of expertise so these introductions help people learn from each other.

Starting from me. I am Andrew, the first author of this little project. I have been working on languages and infrastructure for about a decade as a hobby. This is the first project where I could imagine anyone finding some utility from the language.

I am interested in a couple of broad topics

• Proof Assistants
• Compilers
• Functional Programming
• Object-Oriented Programming
• Natural Language Processing

Aside from language design for this project, my motivation stems from building and contributing to other language projects too. I think language development is fundamentally the most interesting problem to work on in Computer Science.

My dream is to create languages that are formally sound but also feel good and don't require absurd concentration to use effectively.
My superpower is that I am a fairly clumsy coder, so I rely on tools to back me up.
This creates a very high expectation for the tools that I want to use.
