Wouldn't rcloning a directory to localsource achieve the same effect without the use of an extension?

It requires to always run the roundsynce app so everytime I need to use aniyomi I first need to start the round sync app or leave the app always running in background , and we can not download episodes from remote server because media from local source always shows that the content is downloaded.
And the u need to manually change the ip address everytime it changes if u are using some sort on own server in ur home server .
