From @abhishekchitwar:

Fluent's settings API supports wildcard syntax from Python's fnmatch module: https://docs.python.org/3/library/fnmatch.html

The wildcard syntax in Fluent's GUI filters additionally supports boolean functions: https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/public/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v242/en/flu_ug/tgd_user_workflow_guided_custom_task_filter_lists.html?q=filter

For complex filters like above, user may want to reuse the GUI filter texts in PyFluent/PyConsole. Can we improve the wildcard syntax in settings API?
