It would be easy to add in, with your ELM327 just pull in the information via the Raspberry Pi bluetooth interface then read the data in to the UI for presentation.
The main reason why OBDII hasn't been written into the application, is Australia (possibly NZ too ) dragged its feet on OBDII and I don't have a car to develop against :-(
