How to implement model

Hello, I am a student who has just completed two machine learning courses. I want to detect fashion items on a set of current fashion photos with this model and weights for a term project. My python / colab programming skills are so limited that I dont know where to find and run the relevant notebooks. Can anyone give me a hint how to deal with such repositories in order to apply the devloped models? I will correctly quote the author in my presentation. If you think this model is too ambigious to implement for a ml / computer vision beginner, perhaps you know a more basic model which I could use for fashion image detection.
