Releases: apprenticeharper/DeDRM_tools
v6.3.6a
Completely remove erroneous checks on Adobe key validity.
v6.3.6
Fixes for bugs introduced in 6.3.5 to Adobe ePub and PDF decryption.
v6.3.5
The main change in this release is support for the latest (as of December 2015) Kobo Desktop application, and the Obok DeDRM plugin version number has been changed to match the main DeDRM version number (6.3.5.). In addition, changes have been made to the main DeDRM plugin that I hope will fix the problem people have been having with Linux use of DeDRM when getting keys.
v6.3.4a
This release only includes changes to the obok plugin and script. All other tools (including the DeDRM plugin and applications) remain unchanged from v6.3.4.
Obok 3.1.6 adds in support for reading Kobo ebooks from an attached kobo reader.
v6.3.4
Main feature: Support for Kobo Desktop version 3.17
Also:
- More error checking when getting Kindle for Android keys
- Fixed capitalization problem in repository for Windows DeDRM
- Improved obok logo (added transparency)
v6.3.3
A quick bug fix for the plugin when first getting the Kindle for PC (or Kindle for Mac) key.
6.3.2
In addition to the enhancements and bug fixes of 6.3.1 (which includes Kindle for Android support), this release includes additional translations and a version number bump for the obok plugin, and some documentation (in the help file) for the Kindle for Android enhancements in the plugin.
v6.3.1
This main change in this release is the addition of support for getting decryption keys for Kindle for Android files from a backup.ab file. Once the backup.ab file has been obtained from the android device using the adb tool, it can be imported for use by the DeDRM plugin or either of the stand-alone DeDRM apps.
There have been minor typos fixes in documentation, the .pobi Kindle file extension should now be recognized by all tools, some log messages should now be clearer, some of the key scripts should now work as stand-alone TkInter script again,
v6.2.2
This release adds support for retrieving Barnes & Noble/nook encryption keys from the B&N servers using a URL containing user email address and password. The password is not stored after use. It includes improved support for retrieving the key from nook Study logs. This combination of improvements should make removing DRM easier for the remaining Barnes & Noble/nook customers.
v6.2.1
This is a bug fix release, fixing a problem with the Macintosh application, and with Windows users names containing non-ascii characters.
