Module Lead Handbook
soon... :)
When a user posts a problem, and the problem is debugged to be a bug, attempt to get the user to report the bug (or at least set the user as reporter in jira). This gives the user familiarity with our development environment, and it gives us the opportunity to automate the release notes / thanks sections (names, names, names). If you know the location of the bug in source code, post a comment on the forum and jira with a short explanation and link(github) to the source line in question. This makes it very easy for the user to contribute the fix as he knows where and what to do. And effectively moving the user from user space to dev space.
Rewrite JIRA's with a positive spin. A positive spin will make it more fun to work with and easier for people to pick up, but also we will be reusing the jira subject and description for release notes highlights.
