Right now http://www1.chapman.edu/~jipsen/mathml/asciimath.html has a much better search rank (cf. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=asciimathml)

@jipsen would you consider using some soft redirect (e.g., rel='canonical') to point to asciimath.org?

Sure, what exactly should I put on the webpage at http://www1.chapman.edu/%7Ejipsen/mathml/asciimath.html ? Would like Google to pick up the new page as easily as possible.

Well, the strongest way way would be http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_301 (if you consider your old page obsolete; I think a few days should be enough especially if you add http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canonical_link_element afterwards. But the latter should might be sufficient.

I think this can be considered resolved. asciimath.org outranks Peter's page in my tests (duckduckgo even marks it "official site").

Why has duckduckgo "ASCIIMathML" as title?
There is no reference in the website with this spelling ^^

asciimathml is mentioned in the title tag but I guess it might be from the redirect. You'd have do ask them though.

asciimathml is mentioned in the title tag

No it isn't. Wrong source tab. Sorry.

I wrote DuckDuckGo. Let's wait for the explanation…
