Open-sourced Newbie wants to help!

Hey community! I am new to open source and want to start building! I am interested in AsyncAPI, with much experience in Java Socket programming. In fact, I am taking a course to develop a distributed web system. I want to help this project but I am not sure where to start. Is there a good first issue that anyone would recommend for me to work on, which could also be a good opportunity for me to learn more about the project? Thanks in advance!
