For the historic records I feel obligated to note the core of this (now deprecated) code was the work of Greg Brown, Steve Dudek, Tom Landers and Myself.
The code was originally housed in bitbucket, which Greg has apparently tried to hide his shame by burning everything to the ground, but I still have the dead links! This code actually had quite a bit of evolution. It began as the s/w to control the HEX Led Panel installations commissioned by Honey SS, which was adapted for BAAAHS, then for a few smaller projects, morphing further in Dr. Dudeks hands and spawning 2 more forks for v1 and v2 of the pyramid panels....and perhaps lastly; I cut it down to focus the base color conversion capability that properly factors in white LEDs. oh! There is actually an old bug in the color.py library, I''l point at a fixed version, but with this code unlikely to be fired up again a note to those that might follow may be sufficient.. It's too bad all the forks are not tied together, it's a nice story.
