We could always unpin it or lock it. Probably doesn't matter too much either way. :)

Hi, we are starting a service that allows users in the biomedical field to provide paid services for their GitHub projects. For example, a researcher publishes a method on GitHub. He could answer questions and fix bugs through the issue tracker but will charge a fee for more extensive requests such as customization of the method. A badge would look like OUR_LOGO support | $50 / hour with a link to details of the service listing on our website. Is this something that could be supported by shields.io? I saw a badge about price at google chrome store but that appears to be the only badge for commercial applications.

Assuming the price is a fixed value for each project, this is something you could do with the static badge. For example:
