Describe the task
Adjust the language in the ITVR system-generated denial email. Incorporate the updated changes in yellow.

Purpose
To improve the clarity and tone of the denial email, so applicants understand why their application was denied.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Revise the email language to include the updated changes (highlighted in yellow).

Proposed changes to the income-testing denial template:

This email was generated by the CleanBC Go Electric Passenger Vehicle Rebate program application.

Dear Applicant,

Your application has not been approved.

Some examples of why this may have happened include:

No record of your 2023 Notice of Assessment on file with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

The identity records that you have supplied do not match CRA records. This could be due to any spelling errors or mistakes in your application. (Do not bold)

Your income does not qualify/exceeds the maximum eligible amount under the program.

If you think you made mistakes in your application, please reapply. (Please bold)
