New Feature: Add a gizmo on the thingamajig

While using the tool, I found that the current solution implemented with the whatchamacallit could be improved if it was swapped out with a gizmo. The gizmo would provide more capabilities for our endusers to use the thingamajig more effectively.

I don't think this new feature is something that we should pursue in the future as your use case doesn't seems to coincide with some of the requests that we see from other users.

Closing this issue for now, but if the previously mentioned requests are not pursued, will come back to this request.
