This goes back to the Browser issue I have that we talked about for a while if you check your emails to that effect. I have tried all your suggestions but to no avail. Maybe the info below will help solve this problem.
Hmm, I just discovered something quite by accident. When the (large) image is initially small after the page load, it is still active for pan and zoom. If you position your mouse in the box, you can use your mouse wheel to zoom in and out, and grab the image to move it around. So, the panZoom() method appears to be working, but for some reason the default appears to be "zoomed out."
