When I create my custom model that is based on gpt-4o-mini then cost always show $0.00.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Workspace
  2. On Models tab add new model
  3. Base your model on some paid model for which cost is shown
  4. Add system prompt: Answer in a concise manner without providing additional information or elaborating unless specifically asked.
  5. Save

Now you can see that price stays at $0.00 for each response.

Been trying to fix this myself, so far no luck.

Fixed, and submitted a pull request It now pulls the model name from base_model_id in the model's info object.

Open WebUI outputs the custom workspace model names by default in the model key (e.g., 'friendly-assistant'), which Cost Tracker was using to check against the model costs JSON. The actual model name (e.g., 'anthropic.claude-3-7-sonnet-latest') exists in the base_model_id field of the model info object.
