Inspired by the brew doctor command. The idea is to sanity check the hermit environment as much as possible. There are a number of other issues that detail what should happen here. Ideally, doctor can suggest fixes, and at least be helpful to the maintainers in diagnosing bugs in hermit.

One condition to check for is if all directories under $HERMIT_ROOT/shells/ are actually directories and if they are all git repositories.
