Using commit 26f8a41 and BitlBee 3.2.2+20141117+devel+1064-2 on Linux Mint 17.1 "Rebecca" Cinnamon Edition (64-bit), friends do not change name on BitlBee when changing their Steam display name. Is there a way to change this so that /nicks on IRC stay synchronized with Steam?
Example: I am connected to Steam with the official client, pidgin-opensteamworks, and bitlbee-steam.
1:44 AM - UserName is now Online. (Steam client)
1:45 AM - UserName has changed their name to NewName (Steam Client)
(1:45:33 AM) Steam_ID is now known as NewName (Pidgin)
On BitlBee, their name remains as UserName until the account is disabled and re-enabled.

Due to the limitations of imcb_buddy_nick_hint(), this would require hackery or patching upstream in bitlbee. I will have to see how much hackery is required in order to make this work with the current bitlbee release. Either way, I will probably send a patch upstream to make this possible. Hopefully, such a patch would be included in the next release.
