Issue adding iCloud account

Hi all, I'm desperate for help. I've been trying to add my iCloud account but I cannot get it to work. I keep getting the following error:

Account creation failed - failed to synchronize folders

I'm using an app specific password and I've tried it with the default IMAP settings as well as Apple's recommended settings.

The only issue that I think may be messing things up is that I also have a customer email domain set up in iCloud mail. Could that be the issue?

The issue was that one of my folders had a special character in the title. All good now
