I want to merge two contacts by profile linking.

It's very useful...

Open your contact application find the contact you want to link, click link, select the other contact with which you want to link them together. done.

Why are you opening an issue for this here?

My bad - I want to do this in my WebWorks application, but I can't find this in Contact API documentation, so I conclude, that Contact API don't support this feature now.
