Magic storage Items dissapear

Me and my friend started a calamity playthrough and we were just about to kill skeletron and when we would upgrade our storage from corruption to hellstone. When we upgrade a single cell, all the items inside the storage heart dissapeared.

We tried moving the storage to a new storage unit, but after placing 1 connector or removing 1 storage unit, all items would dissapear unless we would hard restart the server to roll it back (alt f4).

Is our world corrupt or is this something else?

Same issue here, but we didn't upgrade and instead just added on to it. It seems anytime we increase our storage, the items disappear.

It's a visual bug. Rejoining fixes it.
