This would be great. I don't have experience with doing this and I'd love for someone that does to help show a path towards internationalizing bookie.

Hi @mitechie , a short time ago I was concerned with i18n Localization ( internationalization on django ) on django ( python ) project. I'd like to help you for this topic. If you want we can communicate via mail.

@dogancankilment I've love to get your input on a pattern for doing this. Bookie uses Pyramid + Mayko for templating. The JS is YUI, which has a bit of i18n ability in it that we might be able to use for that side. I'm not sure. What would be great would be a branch that added any deps and provided a pattern for defining translatable strings in the app and then a process, Makefile/etc for building/doing translations?

Thanks @mitechie ,

How are things in the structure of the template you're talking about is going on, I'm not sure I have it.
I'm going to try localization on files with the extension ".mako" and I try to review your project,
if I find, how were they (strings) sent ? "from views (functions) to the templates"
maybe a chance to experiment for i18n.
