Welcome to the home-assistant-bosch-custom-component wiki!
Let's share our knowledge about Bosch component.
Wiki is open so feel free to edit if you know something important.
This component support different IP modules from many brands owned by bosch. Main brands are Bosch, Buderus, Junkers and Nefit.
All gateway heater able to communicate via IP and local http connectivity should work. Pratically, if you are using "Buderus MyDevice" app, "Bosch ProControl" or EasyRemote this component should work.
Others will have to use connection via Xmpp and bosch server.

If you want to connect your Bosch heat pump to your Home Assistant instanz you have to follow these steps. I had some issues, I hope this will help you.
- At first, follow these guide until step "Install integration"
- If you have to choose your heat pump choose: "IVT"
- Next choose HTTP to connect to your heat pump in your local network
- You have to login to your heatpump
IP-Adress: The IP-Adress of your heatpump, you can find it for example in your fritz.box
Zugrifsstoken: you have a sticker on your heatpump like this (next screenshot), there you have a password. Use this for "Zugriffstoken" Kennwort: It´s YOUR OWN password do you have use in your App "EasyRemote". If you dont have a "EasyRemote" Account please do this at first.
- Have fun with your heatpump in Home Assistant.
