DETECT Follow-Up Interviews Data

The DETECT Follow-Up Interviews data is not stored in this repository because it must be securely stored and transferred to protect participants' privacy. Files uploaded to GitHub are available to the public by default and are not considered secure.

Therefore, the DETECT data is currently stored in a UTHealth SharePoint Document Library. If you are an IRB approved investigator or research assistant, please contact Brad Cannell ([email protected]) for access to the SharePoint Document Library.

To access the DETECT data, complete the following steps after you have cloned the detect_fu_interviews_public repository to your computer.

  1. There will be a folder at the top level of your local repository called data/. It is ignored by git and GitHub. This means that any files -- including data files -- you add to this folder will only exist on your local computer. They will not be synced with the public GitHub repository.

  2. Download the entire folder named data from the the UTHealth SharePoint Document Library. This is the path to access it: DETECT Sharepoint > Documents > DETECT R01 2018 > 02 Shared Folders > DETECT Follow-up Interview Data Shared > data.

  3. Move the contents of that folder (not the folder itself) to the data folder you created in your local repository in step 1 above. You may have to unzip the folder first.

Your repository should now have all of the raw and cleaned individual data sets.

You must securely store the analysis data on your computer. If you aren't sure how to do that, please contact Brad Cannell ([email protected]).
