Version 2.0 makes a number of changes, including:

  • Adding a new verne_light.py module, which is tailored to sub-GeV DM scattering the Earth, and supports interactions mediated by a dark photon.
  • Removing support for dark photon mediated interactions in the standard verne.py module for heavy DM (these may be re-introduced in a future version, once they have been fully checked).
  • Restructuring the code such that details of the Earth's elements and density profiles is now imported from density.py
