Suggestion: basic drawing

I thought that maybe a plugin to draw things like the standard 2d canvas context api would improve the thing a lot.

For something like that, I think it might be better as a 3rd-party plugin built in a separate repo. That would let the person iterate quickly and add more features whenever they wanted (I could see the feature-set expanding quite a bit if they wanted it to).

If a repo like that was built, I'd be happy to link to it in the docs and project README, and to include demos using it, in the 'demos' section of the docs.

Thoughts?
