General info on site setup

Complete (not syncing to exact web folder yet though) >First: >Using http://troy.jdmz.net/rsync/index.html as a guide, get local wd-workstation folder syncing to web-server folder.

Complete (didn’t use guide given at tumblr, used http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Nginx instead for getting nginx installed and working). >Intermediary: >Get web page loading with nginx >(see this guide http://tumblr.intranation.com/post/766288369/using-nginx-reverse-proxy, also has information for second part of task)

Complete (ended up using Russell’s setup as a bit of a guide, though can’t do the name.bryteise.homeip.net because I don’t have dynamic domains configured with dyndns) >Second: >Setup nginx to reverse proxy on web-server, setup port forwarding on routers 42000to nginx. >Try to configure nginx use name.bryteise.homeip.net to decide which server to go to.

Complete (updated task to split into 3a and 3b) >Third A: >Configure org setup to publish projects using http://orgmode.org/worg/worg-setup.php.

Complete (cron jobs running)

>Third B: >Configure cron job so the whole thing is automated using git to pull >updates on a timely fashion.

Removed: (made own task for a deeper dive) Fourth: Get monitoring working for the cron job doing both the syncing and the publishing, look at http://mmonit.com/wiki/Monit/ConfigurationExamples#cron
