Program "echo.exe" is Missing on Windows #1
Comments
Ye, that problem is indeed annoying. On my system it's not a fatal error though: Compilation and upload aren't affected. Was this different on your system? I have tagged this help-wanted till someone from the Hochschule (or the community at large wink wink ;) takes a look. |
i'm trying to use this on my PC , but it doesn´t work... i've installed the "echo.exe" as the previous issue asked for, but still not working. I believe that the eclipse plugin is working properly, but not the API and the commands.. help me please |
Please describe the steps you're following and the errors you see, preferably in a new issue. |
I'm opening the eclipse and clicking on "new project", as requested, but the ev3 option doesn't appear. So I can't use the c4ev3.. i'm a student and I need to use it for a very important school work

Sorry for my bad English, I really need help with c4ev3 |
Can you say me what are the correct steps i've to follow ? |
We from brickobotik.de are working on Windows 10 with the newest Eclipse.
On every machine we've tested c4ev3 we had to install the program "echo.exe". It can be found in the "gnu-mcu-eclipse-build-tools-2.9-20170607-0922-win32-setup.exe " installer of the Windows Build Tools (https://github.com/gnu-mcu-eclipse/windows-build-tools/releases/tag/v2.9).
If possible, it would be awesome if the installer can check the existence and install the Windows Build Tools if missing.
